About Bethany

FullSizeRenderBethany has a passion for working with individuals who are struggling through anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, body image concerns, trauma and sexual abuse recovery, and other general life struggles. Her goal in therapy is to help people become equipped to find their most authentic sense of self through increased self-awareness and by being listened into voice, action, and hope.

Bethany is originally from Nashville, TN, but she has settled and made her home here in West Michigan. She obtained a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Western Michigan University and holds LPC licensure in the state of Michigan. Bethany’s counseling experience includes her time working with young adults at Broene Counseling Center at Calvin College. She is on the therapists panel at Tri-Cities Ministries and enjoys working with clients from diverse backgrounds, various faith and non-faith perspectives, and multiple cultural contexts.

In her free time, she enjoys cooking, cross-country skiing, kayaking, and spending time in the beautiful West Michigan outdoors with her family and their dog, Cappadocian.
